Pogo is 100% run by volunteers!
We believe in a culture that is co-operative and mutual, providing a positive alternative to the unyielding oppression of mainstream capitalism. We all benefit from Pogo (so do the animals!) and with enough people putting in a little bit if time each week it will get better and better! Volunteering is not only a lot of fun, but it’s a great way to meet people and its a way to really feel like a part of it.
Daily roles in the café include Front of House, Middle Kitchen, Kitchen Assistant and Chef. We are also looking for people to get involved with accounting, publicity and cleaning.
No experience is necessary to get involved with any aspect of the café, so don’t hesitate to join us!
